Recently one of the leading IT service providers of Saudi Arab, Al Falak Electronic Equipment and Supplies, has announced a massive investment scheme. They are looking for opportunities to invest in companies or acquire companies in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt and Jordan.
Ahmed Ashadawi, the president confirmed that they want to grow through acquisitions. ‘The new investments and acquisitions will be completed in the 2009-2010 period,’ he said. So things are pretty up in IT industry in Arab. May be its not a trend yet. But some companies are definitely doing well. We can even a rise in Recruitment of Engineers to cater to the growing needs. Others should follow the trend and go on a planned approach to gain market and develop expertise. Its not the time to sulk about the recession.
